I think I fixed the spam problem, so I’ve changed the commenting back to allow anyone to comment, even if you don’t have a Wordpress account. Please try it out and let me know if it works!

please enlighten me on the spam solution, mine is currently out of control.

It’s so easy and such a relief – from the dashboard, go to Plugins and activate the “Akismet” plugin. That will start filtering the spam. Then, you can go into your comment moderation and I believe at the bottom there’s a button that allows you to mark all of them as spam (obviously, remove the ones that aren’t first).
